Not about grieving
I need to depart from my usual topics to tip the hat to Barcelona for their 3-1 win over Manchester United in the UEFA Champions League. One can absolutely make the case that they are the best team in any team sport in the world at this moment. And while I'm at it, is anyone else as frustrated as I get when I hear a team who has just won a league title in a U.S. Big 4 sport call themselves "World Champion"? Just saying...

Thank you
One of my favorite lines in "We Do Remember You" is a line I didn't write. In the litany, "We Remember Them" the final response says:
"...As long as we live they, too, shall live,
For they are a part of us
We Remember Them".
That is the whole point: as long as we remember our deceased loved ones, especially our children, not only do they live in our hearts, but their story is kept alive for others to know.
2 more things: Thanks to all who have pushed this blog to 20 followers on "Networked Blogs" - I really appreciate it - AND - very soon I'm going to report a big kudo for the books. I know it is going to happen, I am waiting for the when to splash the news all over the blog, the FB page, twitter, and LinkedIn. Stay tuned!!!

First Mother's Day without Mom

Today Dad, my wife Martha, and I went to Mom's marker and laid roses from each family member on the grave. Mom's rose is at the bottom of the marker, beautiful Dewar's White Label Rose (I'm not sure Mom woulld be thrilled with the name, but it is a pretty rose). Alexandra's Rose is the pink rose, left-center. I'm glad that in this way, Mom can have her whole family around her. Happy Mother's Day everyone.
